Broken Lizard Filmography

Chandrasekhar has directed all eight Broken Lizard films, beginning with Puddle Cruiser in 1996, a campus-set comedy shot at their alma mater Colgate University. While rough around the edges due to limited resources, the film showcased the group's undeniable chemistry and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 1997.

Super Troopers (2001) became Chandrasekhar's breakout success and remains Broken Lizard's most successful film to date. The film, centered on prank-loving state troopers in fictional Spurbury, Vermont, cemented Broken Lizard as major comedic talent and significantly boosted each member's career. The endlessly quotable film is considered one of the funniest films of the 2000s.

Following their success, Chandrasekhar directed Club Dread (2004), their first studio-backed project with a significantly larger budget. He continued with Beerfest (2006), which became one of their biggest hits and showcased the troupe's infectious chemistry. Most recently, he directed Super Troopers 2 (2018), demonstrating the group's enduring appeal and collaborative spirit.
